Meat The Founders

Joe and Pete, two blue-collar city workers from New York, worked tirelessly as essential workers during COVID. During this time, they picked up a new hobby: dry-aging their own steaks. Once their batch was ready, they would cook for friends and family. As word spread about their incredible steak, their gatherings grew significantly in size. This sparked the idea of starting their own business.

Finally, when COVID ended in the spring of 2022, PorterHouse Party was born. They hit the road with their unique concept—transforming their phenomenal steak into an experience, combining high-quality food with entertainment.

Within just a few months, their reputation spread like wildfire, earning them multiple appearances on Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey, Fox5, NBC, News12NJ, and the Staten Island Advance. They have also served the 2022-2023 New York Giants, NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, as well as cast members from MTV’s Jersey Shore. Not to mention the countless musicians, NBA players, MLB players, and influencers who’ve enjoyed their steaks.

With an expansion into South Florida, they’ve already served the Stanley Cup-winning Florida Panthers organization and the Real Housewives of Miami, offering yacht catering as well! You never know who you’ll see enjoying their signature filet mignon.

Where do you travel to?

We will travel ANYWHERE, travel fees may apply.

How long is a party?

Approximately 3-4 hours.

I have a large group of 40 or more but I don't want to do full steak portions, what can I do?

We offer station pricing, with lesser portions of meat for those large parties that want us as an add on.

What do I have to supply?

For our steak packages you need to provide:

Alcohol

Napkins

Plates

Utensils

We will require use of your oven

When do you need a headcount by?

We need an estimate when booking, we will ask for a final headcount 5 days before, until 3 days before you’ll be able to make any last minute changes as needed. We can always add on, but we can not take off from the final list within 72 hours.

Is gratuity included?

No it is not and it is appreciated.

Have you really served celebrities?

You will see some of your favorite faces dining at our parties such as the Real Housewives of New Jersey, 2022 New York Giants, Real Housewives of Miami, Former MLB & NBA players, and multiple reality TV stars. You never know who will pop up next at a Porterhouse Party!

Terms:

If Porterhouse Party has to cancel the event because they can no longer attend, all deposits and money paid will be fully refunded. We specifically cut your reserved steak in advance of your party.

Due to potential food shortages any increase in price Porterhouse Party reserves the right to revisit terms with clients granted a 30 day notice is given.

Final headcount due 5 days before party, client will have a grace period until 3 days prior to party to reduce headcount if needed.

72 hours prior to party headcount is locked in.

Cancellation Terms:

31 Days prior or more: client receives refund of deposit. 22 to 30 Days prior: client is able to reschedule the 1st time, 2nd time forfeiture of deposit. Date of party to 21 Days prior: client will forfeit deposit.
